Dear Dharma Friends of the Drukpa Ultimate Lineage

As you are aware, under the spiritual refuge of His Holiness The Gyalwang Drukpa, the jewel of all wisdom and Mandala, the 1st and 2nd Annual Drukpa Council (ADC) were held in Kathmandu, Nepal, with Kyabje Khamtrul Rinpcohe Jigme Pema Nyinjadh as the chairman. The 3rd ADC will be held in Ladakh, the Land of Dharma, from 22nd to 28th August, 2011.

Ladakh is a special region where the Dharma in general and the Drukpa Lineage in particular is thriving as a living Buddhist spiritual culture. For Dharma friends from India, Nepal, Bhutan, Western nations and Asian countries attending the ADC in Ladakh will be a pilgrimage, a means of purification, making offerings and accumulating merits.

The Drukpa Lineage has survived for over 800 years for the benefit of the Dharma and beings as a result of the activities of the successive Gyalwang Drukpa, great masters of the past and the reincarnate Lamas, Khenpos and teachers active today. The Lineage is active today in many parts of the world mainly due to the inexpressible vastness of the spiritual aspirations and activities of His Holiness The Gyalwang Drukpa aimed at benefitting all sentient beings.

I request everyone to join the event on the dates mentioned above, with eagerness, devotion and joy, as an act of offering to please the Victorious One so that we remain under the refuge of the Lineage and Master for lives to come till enlightenment.
